hello entrepreneurial mothers
I am fortunate enough to be involved with the following 10 day Central Australia tour commencing these school holidays, and so I am delighted to be able to extend an invitation to you and the students in your life (this includes your family, and any international students you may know as well) to come on this amazing indigenous discovery tour… just imagine how this hands on experience will not only enhance learning, but more holistically introduce us all to our unique country.
I understand that’s its very short notice, but I did not want that to stop me from at least bringing the tour to your attention should you want to join us. If this one does not work for you, there is also a possibility of it running again in September school holidays… TBA on that one.
So to find out all about it, click on all the underlined links below, and I look forward to answering any questions and/or making a booking on your behalf. At this stage, my daughter and I will also be going so please come with us. If you have “guardianship” concerns then I’m happy to talk about how we might make that happen.
School Holidays first…
with the mid-year holidays just around the corner, OzSee is running a 10 day trip to Central Australia…. yes Central Australia!
At this stage, it will consist of a small group and include all sorts of fabulous hands-on activities to do coupled with a high educational component for a reasonable price, as well as being lots of great fun…what more could you ask for?
what?
As members of the SolvePoverty Group Alliance, OzSee and Reho Travel wish to bring together a network of multicultural, multi-age student entrepreneurs around Australia.
why?
In response to the Australia 2020 Summit, this is about empowering students to find ways to creatively respond to opportunities in the indigenous communities, by introducing them to the communities in the first instance.
Link thousands of young Australians to communities through support for school twinning, exchange programs, mentoring, in country and community-based learning programs.
(Australia 2020 Summit report)
how?
By partnering with Reho Travel to conduct a pilot familiarisation tour of outback Australia by a multi-cultural, multi-age group of students selected from school and Universities around the country
benefits?
The selected students will form the founder group of an expanding Australia-wide network of youth entrepreneurs, with the first step being to get a snapshot of what it is we need to be thinking about…
And for the communities, they benefit economically by getting access to, and introducing visitors to our unique country.
And I can’t wait to go on it too I must say…
yes, if it goes ahead, I will be the tour guide so that all can rest easy, including you.
